Boardman fire blocks County Road A traffic
The New Richmond Fire Department responded to a structure fire Wednesday morning in Boardman.
The New Richmond Fire Department responded to a structure fire at about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday morning in Boardman.
A passerby reported to St. Croix County dispatch that a home at 1408 County Road A was on fire and smoke was billowing out of the structure. According to St. Croix County records, the home is owned by Ronald Wallace.
Traffic at County Road A and 100th Street was blocked due to the blaze. Firefighters were concerned with a propane tank at the rear of the structure.
Somerset and St. Josephs fire departments also were called out to aid with the fire.
