North Water Tank Rehabilitation
300,000 Gallon Double Ellipsoid

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City Administrator of the City of New Richmond until 2:00pm Thursday January 5, 2012 at the office of the City Administrator, City of New Richmond, 156 East 1st Street, New Richmond, WI 54017 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the rehabilitation of the North Water Tank. Major items of work include:
> Exterior Structural Modifications and Repairs
> Complete Removal and Replacement of Interior Wet Coating
> Complete Removal and Replacement of Exterior Coating
Bids shall be on the forms provided for that purpose and according to the Contract Documents prepared by
Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. dated December 5, 2011.

A pre-Bid conference will be held at 2pm on December 20, 2011 at City Hall. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference. Direct inquiries to Engineer Project Manager, Dan Zienty at 651.490.2160
Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of the Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.
Bids shall be directed to the City Administrator securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, “BID FOR NORTH WATER TANK REHABILITATION.”
Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted to SEH in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Minimum Qualifications are required per sections 02 87 00 and 09 97 13.
Contractors on the project shall be required to comply with the minimum wages and labor standards as determined by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development Wage Rate Determination.
The City of New Richmond reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
