All are invited and welcome to come to the 2011 Community Christmas Dinner at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25.
The event is hosted by the United Methodist Church Community Outreach Committee and students from the New Richmond High School National Honor Society.
Live entertainment, great company and the delicious free meal will be served up for all who attend. A ham dinner and the fixings will be served on Christmas day, in the Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church located at 209 E. Second St. in New Richmond. The doors open at 11:30 a.m. and dinner is served at noon. Home delivery is available for those who are unable to attend. Reservations are requested.
The 18th annual Christmas dinner is made possible through the collaboration of many volunteers, organizations and area businesses. The New Richmond High School Agriscience Program and FFA annually donate fruit as well as beautiful poinsettias. The youth from the UMC will create a holiday atmosphere by decorating the dining hall. The high school foods classes will be baking cookies for the meal. Area businesses provide food, door prizes and financial support. Live music will be performed by the New Richmond High School music students throughout the meal. Volunteers from the UMC, National Honor Society and the community will be serving the meal.
