Project Description

The project consists of exterior and interior renovation of an existing single story pre-engineered metal building located on the WITC New Richmond Campus in New Richmond, Wisconsin. The exterior renovation portion of this project includes re-skinning the existing 23,080 square feet building. The interior portion of the project will be limited to renovation of approximately 17,200 square feet repair shop including slab-on-grade floor replacement and new interior walls. The interior renovation will also include the replacement of existing security rough-ins, technology rough-ins, existing plumbing, HVAC, power, and lighting systems and components. Site work will be limited to restoration of disturbed areas by the Contractor.

BIDDING INFORMATION

Bid Requirements

Sealed bids for a Single Prime based on Stipulated Sum will be received for and in behalf of the Owner at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2012.

Bid opening will be public.

Location: Board Room

Bid security is required to accompany each bid as required by the Instructions to Bidders.

The Firm whose bid is accepted by the Owner will be required to purchase Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with the Supplementary General Conditions.

Wage rates as determined by the State of Wisconsin are applicable to this Project.

A Pre-Bid Meeting and walk through of the existing facility, which is mandatory for General Contractors, will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 9:00 AM. Initial meeting place will be Cashman Conference Center, Room 502.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid opening without written consent of the Owner.

The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject proposals.
