According to Pierce County authorities, a Cessna C-185 had engine trouble before crashing about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday in the town of Clifton.

Mark Campillo, 39, and Miles Haisten, 53, both of Wasilla Alaska, walked away but they were still taken to a River Falls hospital to be checked.

Campillo was the pilot of a craft owned by David Meyer.
