LETTER: Candidate promises to be strong voice

To the Editor:

Hi, my name is Dennis Brunkhorst. I am running for the District 14 County Supervisor position.

District 14 is made up of Richmond Township, Erin Township, and the northern half of Warren Township.

Here is my background. I have lived in St. Croix County my entire life. I grew up on dairy farm outside of Woodville. My education background includes an associate degree in computer programming and recently I have received my bachelor’s degree in MIS management from Franklin University. I am currently employed at McDonalds of New Richmond as a crew member.

The main reason that I am running is so that my constituents will have a strong voice at the county level. By voting for me on Feb. 21 in the primary, the voters of the 14th District will get your voices heard at the county level. I will fight to keep the county nursing home. I also will get the County Board meetings moved to night so that the voters can be heard. I feel strongly that we need openness in our government.

So please go vote for me on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
