LETTER: Nursing home is wonderful place

To the Editor:

We wish to commend and thank the St. Croix County Board members who have supported the county operating the St. Croix Health Center Nursing Home. It’s wonderful that the facility consistently maintains such high rating from the state.

We had a loved one at the Health Center for over three years. She not only received excellent care, but loving care. Our family was always treated warmly and any concerns we had were addressed in a courteous way. I think the county should be proud to operate such a facility!

It is our hope that anyone who must place a loved one in a nursing home will be fortunate enough to find a place that provides the kind of care that our aunt received.
