Croix Hurtis benefit scheduled for Sunday
A benefit for 11-year-old Croix Hurtis, a New Richmond youth hockey player battling leukemia, will be held at Ready Randy’s this Sunday.
A benefit for 11-year-old Croix Hurtis, a New Richmond youth hockey player battling leukemia, will be held at Ready Randy’s this Sunday.
Hurtis was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Leukemia on Dec. 26. He is the son of Mike and Kari Hurtis.
The buffet dinner begins at 4 p.m. A raffle and silent auction will also start at 4 p.m. A DJ will begin playing music at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the benefit are $10 each. The tickets are good for the meal and one raffle ticket. The meal will be a BBQ pulled pork dinner, plus Croix’s favorite, Ready Randy’s boneless wings.
The raffle and auction will include numerous sports items. There are signed items from Wild players, Wild tickets, Badger apparel, and other sporting apparel. There will be several themed baskets, including a golf basket, spaghetti basket, beach-themed basket and movie-themed basket. In addition, there will be baskets for cleaning services and handyman baskets.
