SCC Empty Bowls event scheduled for Feb. 20
Since mid-January, St. Croix Central students and community members have been making bowls for the district’s Empty Bowls Event. More than 100 bowls will be available at the event on Feb. 20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the SCC High School commons area.

In addition to the bowls made by students and community members, there will be bowls created by professional artists as well as a few “celebrity” (SCC administration) bowls that will be auctioned off by SCC’s superintendent, turned auctioneer, David Bradley.
Donations of $5 or more per bowl and supper of is requested.
The meal will consist of chicken noodle soup, chili and bread.
The SCC art department encourages the community to attend the event to support the local food shelf.
