A class for those wanting to learn more about bow hunting is being planned.

The 2012 New Richmond bow hunter education class is being planned by the Willow River Rod and Gun Club. The class is a state certified class.

Class dates and times are 7-9 p.m. March 22; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 24 (with lunch provided); 7-9 p.m. March 26; and 7-9 p.m. March 29.

Students may bring their bows and arrows and other equipment on March 24, 26 and 20. Equipment will be provided to those needing it.

The fee for the class is $10. Participants must pre-register before Match 20.
