The local band Trigger Happy is celebrating 30 years together at a CD release party and performance on March 10.
The local band Trigger Happy is celebrating 30 years together at a CD release party and performance on March 10.
The 30-year anniversary album, “Purt-Near 30 Years,” is the band’s third project and they’re excited for people to hear the mixture of songs and musical styles included on the new CD.
“It’s a pretty good variety of music and it’s very lively,” said Trigger Happy band member Mike Murtha about the new CD.
The release party will be at Rooster’s Roadhouse, 1767 County Road T, in New Richmond from 8 p.m. to midnight. CDs will be on sale for $10 each. There will also be band memorabilia giveaways and door prizes.
Murtha promises there will be a nice mix of dance music throughout the evening.
Also appearing are Round Two (made up of some band members’ children and family members), Fizz Kizer and Gae Magnafici.
There is no cover charge to attend the release party and performances.
Murtha hopes people attend the release party to enjoy good music and help celebrate the band’s anniversary.
