Motorist charged with 8th DWI
A Fairchild, Wis. man has been charged with his eighth driving while intoxicated offense.

Gary A. Artac, 60 years of age, from Fairchild, WI was arrested at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, on U.S. Highway 10 in Trempealeau County.
A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped Artac for failure to wear his safety belt. A subsequent investigation resulted in Artac being arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant - 8th offense.
In addition, Artac was cited for an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle and safety belt violation. Artac was taken and booked into the Trempealeau County Jail.
