Twin Cities comedienne Leslye Orr will present her award winning comedy show “Women Who Drink” on Saturday, March 31, at 8 p.m.
“Women Who Drink” is a happy hour of intoxicating comedy spiked with razor-sharp wit and sobering observations. Playing 16 loopy ladies, each named after their drink of choice, Orr conjures up a great menu of barflies, each as distinct as their hair-dos and hats.
Bartender Kathleen Sullivan sets up each “drink” with comic twists.
Featured as the “Best Solo Performance of 2000!” (Lavender magazine), and listed as a Star Tribune “Critic’s Choice” play, this comedy with its uplifting message and memory lane music has been toasted by audiences at theaters in the Midwest for 20 years.
Tickets are $15. Call 715-246-3285 or 1-800-886-8035 for reservations or more information about the Old Gem Theater or visit www.oldgemtheater.com.
