Fairest of the Fair candidates sought

Would you like to be the official ambassador and spokesperson for the St. Croix County Fair? Are you the next St. Croix County Fairest of the Fair?

The St. Croix County Fairest of the Fair committee is seeking individuals to run for the Fairest of the Fair. The position is open to all individuals 18 years and older, currently reside in St. Croix County for the past year, and have an interest and enthusiasm for promoting the St. Croix County Fair.

Expectations are to represent St. Croix County Fair at events and activities throughout St. Croix County from July 2012 until the 2013 County Fair.

If you are outgoing, friendly and eager to become involved with your community, running for Fairest of the Fair may be the perfect opportunity.

Applications are due May 15 and can be found on www.stcroixcofair.com.

St. Croix County also has a Junior Fairest of the Fair program as well. This is open to all children ages 8-10 as of Jan. 1, 2012. The Junior Fairest of the Fair can go to parades with the Fairest of the Fair throughout their reign.
