LETTER: New logo should be recalled
New Richmond, “The City Beautiful” with the weeping willow as the logo of choice! The possibility of a logo “recall” is an option to be pursued with signatures! (Thousands would be in the realm of reality).
To the Editor:
New Richmond, “The City Beautiful” with the weeping willow as the logo of choice! The possibility of a logo “recall” is an option to be pursued with signatures! (Thousands would be in the realm of reality).
Whoever is responsible for New Richmond’s logo or saying: “Actively Inviting, Naturally Authentic” should accept the fact that a change back to the original logo and “The City Beautiful,” is being pursued, and if signatures would be required for the change, so be it!
Who paid for the two changes in our city logo? The taxpayers? Chamber? Street scape individuals? I don’t know. But the ones who have lived here for years and recall out beloved history, want “The City Beautiful” returned!
