WFU meets in New Richmond
The Wisconsin Farmers Union conducted its local district meeting on March 27 at Lola’s Family Restaurant in New Richmond.

As part of its Spring Conference Tour, the WFU’s regional meeting provided an opportunity for members to meet, share a meal and discuss rural issues.
Among the topics discussed at the meeting were the Farm Bill and the national Farmers Union conference, presented by Bill Krueger, president of the Dunn County Farmers Union who was a representative at the national convention in Omaha.
The Croes and Fiedler families conducted a panel discussion on how to transition a family farm from one generation to the next.
Also on hand was Deb Jakubek, regional membership coordinator, talking about the changes within Farmers Union both in the state and nationally.
