The house of Martin Vanderhof (Walter DeKock) may at first seem full of mad-hatters, but it is not long before you realize that if they are mad, then the rest of the world is madder. In contrast to these delightful people are the unhappy Kirbys. Tony, played by Ben Johnston, is the attractive young son of the Kirby’s, who falls in love with Alice Sycamore (Alisha Blackman) and all craziness unfolds as the two families collide in what is surely a fun, entertaining performance.
Joining the ranks on stage will be: River Simpson (Paul Sycamore), Susan Kilian (Penny Sycamore), Emily BierBrauer (Essie Carmichael), Jocque Warner (Ed Carmichael), Hailey Bessac (Rheba), Thomas Tennor (Donald), Gus Franchere (Mr. DePinna), Thomas Wanless (Kolenkov), Rocco Ficociello (Mr. Kirby), Marissa Neitzke (Mrs. Kirby), Audrey DeKock (Grand Duchass), Heidi Germain (Gay Wellington), Brenna Connolly (Mrs. Henderson), and Mason Koch, Caleb Tate and Cody Zobel as G-Men. Behind the scenes are: Ashley Sager, Rose Smith, Keagan Van Eperen-Sattler, Meredith Jarchow, Jenna Cagle and Lizzi McKinney.
Performances are scheduled for April 13-15 at 7 p.m. in New Richmond High School’s auditorium.
Tickets are $10 and available through Katelyn Peterson (715-246-1620).
