LETTER: Debt debate continues
I’m kind of amazed that we haven’t heard lately about how much these darned recall elections are going to cost Wisconsin taxpayers.

I’m kind of amazed that we haven’t heard lately about how much these darned recall elections are going to cost Wisconsin taxpayers.
I wonder if the outrage this time is being somewhat squelched by the fact the Republicans have decided to force a Democratic primary, by recruiting “fake” Democrats to run against the actual Democratic candidates.
Seems to me that our Republican friends are only concerned with cost when the Democrats are causing it.
Aren’t the Republicans in D.C. crying about how the Obama administraton has increased our debt, but when Bush was giving the rich tax cuts and putting two wars on the national credit card, well then by golly, debt wasn’t an issue at all.
