A $24.8 million contract to reconstruct the I-94 and Wisconsin Highway 65 interchange near Roberts, as well as a portion of I-94, is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 23.

The project will reconstruct two miles of I-94 from Hudson to Menomonie Road and reconstruct the interchange to a diamond interchange with roundabouts at the ramp terminals.

I-94 will remain open to traffic during construction, with traffic operating on either the east or westbound lanes, depending on project schedule.

Highway 65 will also remain open, with single lane closures planned. Motorists should anticipate delays during peak travel times and use alternate local routes where possible.

The project has a completion date of November 2013.
