Initial charges against two sisters in a sex assault incident have been dismissed.
Battery, sex assault, battery and criminal damage charges against Valerie Marie Bartkey, 24, St. Paul, Minn., formerly of Somerset, from an Oct. 1 incident in the Town of Somerset were dismissed April 17. Similar charges against Amanda Lynn Johnson, 18, 221 11th St., Hudson, from the same incident were also dismissed.
The district attorney’s office is expected to re-file charges against the sisters.
The criminal complaint alleged Bartkey and Johnson threatened an 18-year-old man, made him drink urine and pulled his penis with a pliers at a Somerset residence.
