Citizens Field flagpole dedication postponed
The flagpole dedication at Citizens Field in New Richmond that had been scheduled for this Tuesday has been postponed for one week.
The flagpole dedication at Citizens Field in New Richmond that had been scheduled for this Tuesday has been postponed for one week.
The dedication was supposed to happen this Tuesday before the American Legion baseball game between New Richmond and Somerset. The Somerset varsity baseball team qualified for Tuesday’s sectional tournament in Barron, making it impossible for the Somerset team to play in New Richmond that day. A makeup date for that game has not been announced.
The flagpole dedication has been shifted to next Tuesday, June 12. The dedication will be held before the 5:30 p.m. double-header between the New Richmond and Osceola junior Legion teams.
