Support staff
Janie Becker –
MS Secretary
“As we have heard over and over Janie Becker is the glue that holds the middle school together. The go to gal. Just ask and she will know what the answer is. She is constantly going in a million directions but always willing to take on another task. Janie comes to work with a smile every day, managing one challenge after another. She is always willing to go the extra mile.”
Jennifer Kleschold – District Accountant
“In these times of economic uncertainty for school districts, I believe Jennifer Kleschold deserves the Outstanding Employee Award for 2012. This year more than ever the district has looked to her for leadership in budgetary matters for the betterment of the district and its employees. Her impartial fairness is an asset to us all.”
Pam Pribnow - ES Para
“It is apparent Pam loves working with kids! She consistently displays genuine care, consistency in discipline and love to the diverse group of students she encounters on a daily basis. Whether Pam is working one on one with a child or with the masses of students on the playground she creates a learning environment in which positive character traits are always emphasized and expected. Besides the positive impact on our students, Pam is a charismatic co-worker. It is refreshing and fun to be in a room with Pam. Her wit and charm will make you smile!”
Lori Sather – ES Secretary
“Lori is the most upbeat person I know. She is tireless in her pursuit of excellence for every child at the elementary school. Be it ‘the right bus on the right day,’ or with parent’s calls, changes and demands, she always maintains her composure as well as her optimistic outlook. She is an amazing woman, doing an amazing job for SCC and our students.”
Teachers
Ann Leque – Elementary - Fourth Grade
“Ann is a dedicated teacher who strives to make learning unique and exciting each and every day. Ann creates innovative projects that appeal to the individual needs of her students while nurturing their souls and minds. She is a dedicated professional and continues to be a tremendous mentor to many. Ann is an example of the teacher you’d picture when you think about What Great Teachers Do Differently. I can think of no one more deserving than Ann Leque.”
Kim Ricci –
Middle School Band
“Kim does an amazing job with her middle school band students. She has the ability to get so many students involved in the band and they always play so musically, while performing advanced pieces for their grade level. The improvement each band makes throughout the year is very impressive. Students will tell you that she’s lots of fun in class; but when it’s time to get down to work, everyone focuses on working hard to continue to improve.”
Sandy Hermundson –
High School English and Language Arts
“Sandy is the definition of a great teacher. Her love of language and the written word is very obvious to her students. She can make Hemingway’s “Old Man and the Sea” or Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” more enticing to her students than anything Hollywood can produce. She is tough, funny, and has a fantastic rapport with each and every student! Her ability to interact with students and staff members makes her a leader in the high school as well as the district.”
Shannon Donnelly – Middle School Special Education
“Shannon consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty. She is an excellent example of a teacher, co-worker and friend. She is active in organizing curriculum activities and staff team building activities. She is always willing to step into any role requested or help out in any way necessary. She plays an extremely positive role within our school. She will be greatly missed.”
