Severe thunderstorm warning issued for St. Croix County
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for St. Croix County effective until 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 20.
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for St. Croix County effective until 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 20.
The warning also includes Dunn, Pepin and Pierce Counties. A line of thunderstorms are moving through the area at around 4 p.m.
Radar indicates that the storms are capabale of producing damaging winds up to 60 mph. The storms are moving east at 40 mph.
Communities in the line of the storms are Glenwood City, Spring Valley, Wilson, Baldwin, Emerald, Woodville and others.
The National Weather Service suggests people in the path of the storms should seek shelter inside a sturdy structure.
