The annual St. Croix Valley PRCA Rodeo thrilled large crowds over the weekend in Glenwood City at the St. Croix County Fairgrounds.
The event, which included everything from bull riding to barrel racing to Muttin’ Bustin, was a fundraiser for continued work on improvements at the St. Croix County Fairplex.
Muttin Bustin, sponsored by Bernard’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep, was a real crowd pleaser, testing the ability of junior wranglers to ride a sheep against the clock. Winners of the event received a traveling trophy that they keep for a year and then turn in for an engraved western buckle.
In addition to Muttin Bustin, youth competed in Nickel & Calf Scrambles. The Fantasy Corral also brought their collection of exotic petting animals and, for a charge, offered pony rides.
