Work continues on roundabouts near Roberts

Work is continuing on various intersections near Roberts as roundabouts are installed.

    Work was in full swing at the intersection of Highway 65 and U.S. Highway 12 in Roberts on Friday. A roundabout is being installed at the intersection, along with roundabouts at County Road TT and the eastern intersection of Highway 65 and U.S. 12.

Work is continuing on various intersections near Roberts as roundabouts are installed.

Motorists can expect traffic congestion, especially during peak commuting hours. Local drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes to bypass the work zones.

In addition, local road connections to Highway 65 at County TT west, 120th Street, 130th Street and County G west will be temporarily closed during construction. There is all around stops at County Road G and Highway 65, U.S. 12/Highway 65 and 130th Street, and U.S. 12/Highway 65 and 120th Street. 130th and 120th streets are closed for Stage 2-3 work. The west leg of County G and Highway 65 are closed for Stage 2 work. 

Both Interstate 94 and WIS 65 will remain open with traffic running in single lanes through the construction zone at I-94. Traffic control will be done by the State Patrol executing a rolling stop on I-94 eastbound. Be prepared for delays during peak travel times.
