Starr Elementary School Safety Patrol recognized
The safety of students at school is a big challenge. Staff at Starr Elementary School rely upon assistance from several responsible fifth-graders to help keep all students safe.
The safety of students at school is a big challenge. Staff at Starr Elementary School rely upon assistance from several responsible fifth-graders to help keep all students safe. These students received specific training to be safety patrols. It is a big responsibility and is not easy to control students in bus lines, but several fifth grade students rose to the challenge this past school year and deserve to be recognized.
Starr Elementary School Safety Patrol for the 2011-2012 school year were:
Ashley Swiggum, Lauren Smith, Angel Reigel, Kaazy Vhaa, Victoria Zinsmeister, Layne Carlson, Ella Castro, Jacob Michel, Brett Mueller, Calli Forder, Bella Thommes and Rachel Skinner. Safety Patrol captains were Emily Duncan and Michael Doriott.
Alternates for the regular Safety Patrol members included: Jack Aysta, Tania Santiago and Claire Odegard.
