President Johnson called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Jeffrey Johnson, Ryan Sicard, Bob Krueger, Greg Sayers, Dave Carufel, Bob Campbell and Bartt Palmer. Rob Jones, Cedar Corporation, and Rob Weldon were also present.
Public Comment: No public comment.
Minutes: Motion by Palmer, second by Krueger to approve the minutes from the April 17 and May 3, 2012 meeting and motion carried.
Committee Reports
PUBLIC WORKS: Project updates: Rob Jones with Cedar Corp. discussed the project update memo highlighting the Shay Street lift station, LaGranduer and Depot Street projects. Shay Street Pay Request: Motion by Sicard, second by Sayers to approve pay request number one in the amount $212,580.88 to Haas Sons Inc. for the lift station project. All members voted yes and motion carried. Seal Coating/Crack Filling Quote: Motion by Sicard, second by Krueger to approve the quote from St. Croix County in the amount of $30,600 for seal coating and crack filling. All members voted yes and motion carried.
PUBLIC SAFETY: Operators Licenses: Motion by Sayers, second by Palmer to approve operator licenses for Glenda Brown, Amy Krusell-Pierce, Bobbi Melvin, and Bernadette L’Allier and motion carried.
PLAN COMMISSION: No May meeting.
FINANCE/PERSONNEL: Johnson reported on the May 15, 2012 meeting.
Radio Purchase: Motion by Johnson, second by Sayers to approve the purchase of police radios in the amount of $2,016.00 from Professional Wireless Communications and motion carried.
FIRE/RESCUE: Chief Belisle discussed the Fire/Rescue report and the hydrant computer program.
New Business
Committee Appointments: None
Bills: Motion by Carufel, second by Sicard to approve the village, water and sewer bills in the amount of $446,754.25 and motion carried.
Adjourn: Motion by Johnson, second by Palmer to adjourn and motion carried. Adjournment: 7:35 p.m.
