After 10 years of service to the community, Grace Place needed a facelift. Home Depot provided more than $20,000 to renovate the excising facility (the old St. Anne’s Convent).
Volunteers with Faith Community Church of New Richmond assisted the Home Depot team to complete the project.
Sheltering up to 24 individuals or eight families at one time, Grace Place has housed folks as young as 1 day old to 80 years of age. Through the years Grace Place has provided shelter to over 1,200 family units.
Grace Place will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Sept. 30.
