LETTER: Poppy Drive was a major success
Many thanks to all who contributed to and participated in our recent Poppy Drive, which we have once a year.
To the Editor:
Many thanks to all who contributed to and participated in our recent Poppy Drive, which we have once a year.
This is a worthwhile effort, as all proceeds go for use by veterans and their families. The hospitalized veterans earn money by making poppies.
We have recently given a portion of our earnings to Camp American Legion, which is a fully equipped camp for veterans and their families to enjoy a time away from home.
