New Richmond High School graduate Christina Green has been awarded the $500 JA Counter Scholarship for 2012.
JA Counter president and owner Linda Skoglund made the check presentation at the New Richmond High School’s Awards Day on May 25.
The scholarship is awarded annually to a student who is planning to pursue a career in the area of financial services. The scholarship funds will be awarded to Green’s college of choice once she has completed one full academic year of post-secondary education in a financial area such as banking, insurance, investments, financial management or advice.
Representatives with JA Counter assist clients in the areas of employee benefit planning, retirement planning, investment planning, as well as insurance and estate planning.
