Minnesota woman dies in I-94 accident
A Stacy, Minn. woman died as a result of a one-vehicle crash at around 7:50 p.m. Saturday, June 30, near Fall Creek, Wis.
A Stacy, Minn. woman died as a result of a one-vehicle crash at around 7:50 p.m. Saturday, June 30, near Fall Creek, Wis.
Carol Fossler, 70, was traveling westbound on I-94 at milepost 84.5 in Eau Claire County in a Kia van.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, Fossler's van struck a median concrete barrier, traveled across the westbound traffic lanes, entered the ditch, and then vaulted and struck the County Highway K overpass/bridge girder.
Fossler was the lone occupant in her van, and she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the WI State Patrol.
Assisting agencies included the Osseo Police Department, Osseo Fire and the Eau Claire County Sheriffs Department.
