Town Board Meeting Minutes

Wednesday,

July 11, 2012

Chairman Schachtner called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm at the Town Hall. Present were Germain, Demulling, Plourde, Rauch and Schachtner. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Germain, seconded by Plourde to approve the agenda. Motion carried. No public input.

Clerk’s & Treasurer’s Report: Motion by Demulling, seconded by Rauch to approve the June meeting minutes. Motion carried. Motion by Plourde, seconded by Rauch to approve the June financial report. Motion carried.

Fire/Rescue Commission Report: No report. Joint meeting at Town Hall, Wednesday, July 25th, 7 pm.

Animal Control Report: Motion by Rauch, seconded by Demulling to approve the June report. Motion carried.

Building Inspector’s Report: Motion by Germain, seconded by Rauch to approve the June Building Inspector’s report from All-Croix Inspections. Motion carried.

Parks & Rec Committee Report: Germain reported committee is working on Comprehensive Plan.

Planning Commission Report - 2 Lot CSM for Alba Murray/S & N Land Surveying: Motion by Plourde, seconded by Demulling to approve the 2 Lot CSM for Alba Murray. Park fees have been paid. Motion carried.

1 Lot CSM for Carl Schnieder/Stevens Engineers: Previous CSM that was approved has been withdrawn by Schnieder. Weiblen has a 33’ easement to access his property. Motion by Germain, seconded by Plourde to approve the 1 Lot CSM for Carl Schnieder. Park fee has been paid. Motion carried.

Two Citizen Vacancies - Consider Appointments: No action taken.

New Business - Bryce/John Montpetit – Driveway and Access off of 58th Street, 66’ of Road Frontage on Lot Recommendation to County: Much discussion and review of map. John Montpetit stated he owns 66’ strip of land off 58th Street. John Montpetit is granting an access easement to Bryce Montpetit who will own 35 acres. Land is zoned agriculture and is over 35 acres and no lot is being created. Bryce Montpetit applied for a driveway permit. Motion by Plourde, seconded by Demulling to approve the access easement of the 35 acre for Bryce Montpetit. Park fee has been paid. Motion carried.

Operator’s Licenses for Ed Huberty, Sam Plummer, Austin Nelson and Allison Wold: Motion by Germain, seconded by Plourde to approve Operator’s Licenses for Ed Huberty, Sam Plummer, Austin Nelson and Allison Wold. Motion carried.

Transportation & Facilities Committee Report - Road Projects: 40th Street by Rice Lake Road additional work–cut hill and improve intersection. Parent Street/180th Avenue mill and pave. Motion by Germain, seconded by Plourde to improve 40th Street to 216th Avenue additional work. Motion carried. Motion by Plourde, seconded by Demulling to approve Parent Street/180th Avenue project. Motion carried.

6 Month Performance Review for David Steel: Motion by Demulling, seconded by Rauch to give David Steel .50 per hour raise. Motion carried.
