Park hosts fishing contest
Willow River State Park will hold a kids fishing contest Saturday, July 28.
Willow River State Park will hold a kids fishing contest Saturday, July 28.
The contest is for kids up to 12 years old. There are three age divisions; 6 and under fish from 9-9:45 a.m., 7-9 fish from 10-10:45 a.m., ages 10-12 fish from 11-11:45 a.m.
The cost for the contest is $1 per child. Organizers will have extra fishing poles and bait. Park admission rules apply to all vehicles entering the park.
