Heartland Days was fun for all
People of all ages said they enjoyed Hammond Heartland Days, from children in the Kiddie Parade, or enjoying the candy at the Grand Parade to adults and families enjoying the United Fire and Rescue Car Show.By: Gretta Stark, New Richmond News

From children running to snatch candy tossed out in the Grand Parade, to children, teens and adults singing Karaoke, to adults sitting in the shade, enjoying the United Fire and Rescue Car Show, people of all ages enjoyed Hammond Heartland Days.
Heartland Days highlights included the Baby Show, the presentation of the Heartland Award and the Kiddie Tractor Pull on Thursday, Aug. 9; the Hammond Pageant on Friday; The United Fire and Rescue Car Show on Saturday and the Kiddie Parade, Grand Parade, Karaoke Contest and Kids' Carnival on Sunday.
