Luck man dead after Bone Lake crash
Polk County deputies responded to the scene of a crash in Bone Lake Township on Aug. 21.

Upon arriving on scene, they found a vehicle, driven by Wendell R. Rogers, 50, of Luck overturned in the ditch. Rogers had been ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to the release, it appears Rogers was traveling southbound on Road Lake Road, approximately .6 miles south of 250th Avenue in Bone Lake Township when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and lost control of his vehicle.
The crash remains under the investigation of the Polk County Sheriff and Medical Examiner's Offices.
