Madison Tornio-Belisle and Kylie Krueger traveled to Milwaukee on Sept. 8 and 9 to represent Polk County in the State Gymkhana competition.

Gymkhana events include barrel racing, pole bending, keyhole, flag, plug and lt special. Gymkhana events are judged on the fastest horse and rider combination.

Madison Tornio-Belisle and her horse Kasino competed in the ninth grade age group in four events and received a Grand Champion, Reserve Champion and fourth place and third place award. Madison is the daughter of Tamera and Douglas Belisle of Deer Park.

Kylie Krueger and her horse Whinny competed in six events and received two grand champion, one reserve champion, one third and two fifth place awards. Kylie is the daughter of Jerry and Noelle Krueger of Boyceville.
