Fifty-five participants took part in the New Richmond Area Centre’s first sprint triathlon event on Sunday.

Chris Stevens won the men’s race in a time of 1:11:50, and Amy Stevens won the women’s race in 1:31:09. In the team competition, Terry Dunst (swim), Gary Bakke (bike) and Tom Schumacher (run) finished in first in 1:18:24.26.
