LETTER: ’Binders full of women’ remark overblown

President Obama can't run on his record, so Democrats hope to distract you from the real issues facing this country under President Obama; bad economy, job losses, massive increase in the national debt, and the Libya cover-up.

To the Editor:

President Obama can't run on his record, so Democrats hope to distract you from the real issues facing this country under President Obama; bad economy, job losses, massive increase in the national debt, and the Libya cover-up.

Honestly, Democrats have jumped the shark with their feigned outrage on Romney’s “binder” comment. As governor of Massachusetts, Governor Romney thought they didn’t have enough women employed in his administration so he asked his team to find qualified women for potential employment. The horror!

He said his team came back with a “binder full of women” (applications). Please, Democrats, explain the controversy. Do you think there aren’t enough qualified women to fill a binder? Or are all your minds in the gutter?

I hear a lot of democrats claiming there is a “war on women” waged by the Republican Party. These same Democrats turn a blind eye and deaf ear as the current president and his administration pay the women in his administration, on average, 17 percent less than their male counterparts.

I think actions speak louder than words and all you Democrat women that scream the “war on women” line but still support Obama as president, are more concerned about party than your convictions. So either fall in line and support Obama but stop lying about the right waging a war on women or follow your convictions and vote for the man that has a proven record of respecting women and values their worth in society, Mitt Romney.
