St. Croix County deputies have attempted to serve a warrant on a Baldwin man twice recently and he has eluded them creating a potential dangerous situation both times, said Chief Deputy Scott Knudson.
Timothy C. Raney, 30, most recently led deputies on a chase through country roads Sunday, Oct. 21, from Hammond to near 156th St. and County Z where he crashed into a cornfield, abandoned his car and escaped on foot.
An Oct. 12 attempt to serve him a warrant resulted in a chase from the Town of Hudson into Minnesota where Rainey got away.
An attempt to locate him Tuesday failed. Raney is wanted on a felony probation violation in a conviction for possession of methamphetamine, said Knudson.
“These chase incidents are a threat to public safety,” said Knudson. “We are concerned that if Raney continues to flee from law enforcement members of the public could be injured.”
Knudson asked for the public’s help in locating Raney and cautioned individuals not to confront him but call St. Croix County Dispatch at 715-386-4701.
