Pearl Bonte, 88

Pearl Evelyn (Olson) Bonte, age 88, passed away peacefully on Oct. 27 surrounded by her five daughters and several of her grandchildren.

She was born on Nov. 13, 1923, in Emerald, Wis. She married Edmond Bonte on June 10, 1942, farmed in Glenwood City, Wis., and had five daughters. They owned and operated the former Agate Inn and Bonte Construction in New Richmond, Wis., for over 20 years.

She is survived by her children, Judie (Ken) Johnson, Janet (Neal) Strand, Mary (Karl) Spath, Barbara Lehman (Doug Osborn), and Sue (Howard) Lee; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many friends and relatives. We will all greatly miss our sweet, lovely Pearl who was adored by all who knew her.

Special thanks to all of her caregivers at The Deerfield, The Gables, and Lakeview Hospice. We will never forget you.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 151 S. Washington Ave., New Richmond. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church, interment parish cemetery.
