The Family Resource Center invites community members in western Wisconsin to an open house on Tuesday, Nov. 27, to celebrate its office renovation. Morning open house hours are from 7:30–9 a.m., in conjunction with the Baldwin-Woodville Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Coffee’s On” series, and evening open house hours are from 5-7 p.m. The office is located at 857 Main St. in Baldwin. Light refreshments will be served.
The Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization founded in 1998 to offer free early childhood development, family support, and parent education resources.
FRCSCV’s mission is to strengthen children, families, and communities by offering education, resources, and support.
In 2011, FRCSCV served more than 2,143 children and their parents.
FRCSCV’s services include one-on-one hospital visits with new parents, Baby & Me classes, Play & Learn groups, home visiting, a Teen Parent Program, developmental screenings, and a resource referral network. Programming applies the nationally recognized, research-based Parents as Teachers curriculum.
All of FRCSCV’s services are free and available to any family with children from zero to age 6 in Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties.
