David Bradley, superintendent of St. Croix Central School District, submitted and the board accepted his resignation at the regular board meeting Nov. 12. His resignation is effective June 30, 2013.
Bradley said he gave the board advance notice in order to give the board more time to find a replacement, something school board President Howard Krueshke said will be a priority for the board.
“We’ll get started on that right away,” Krueschke said. “One thing I can say is that I’m confident the board will want to once again involve the staff and community in this important process.”
Bradley said he plans to spend more time with his family, including his grandchildren.
