SPECIAL BOARD PROCEEDINGS

OCTOBER 24, 2012

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, posted 10/23/2012, the Star Prairie Village Board met in special session on 10/24/2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Center. The meeting was called to order by President Gibson.

Roll call. Members Present: Trustees Chris Boardman, Bruce A. Johnson, Gary Peterson and President Greg Gibson. Absent: Andrew Marrier.

Trustee Boardman moved to approve the agenda as presented seconded by Trustee Peterson and motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS

Rowe Truck Equipment, Inc. quote

Trustee Johnson moved to approve purchase of a Standard Post Side 10' Underbody Dump Body Package and half Cab Shield Long Back (27” x 90”) for the 1991 Ford L9000 Dump Truck at a cost of $5,023.00 (dollars), with cost to come from general fund street machinery, seconded by Trustee Peterson. Roll call vote, 4-0 and motion carried. The quoted price does not include shipping, painting and mounting of the 10' dump body.

2013 Budget

The 2013 proposed budget revenues and expenditures are $350,719 (dollars) with a general property tax levy of $229,784 (dollars).

Trustee Johnson moved to adjourn, seconded by Trustee Peterson and motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:51 p.m.
