This Christmas Dinner is made possible through the collaboration of volunteers from the following organizations: National Honor Society, Key Club and the United Methodist Church. The National Honor Society and Key Club have ongoing missions to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, a desire to render service, a motivation to promote worthy leadership, and encouragement to develop character. The members of all three organizations volunteer their time to make the Christmas Dinner special for everyone.
This Christmas dinner is a tradition that has been carried on for nearly 18 years. Many donations are needed for this dinner to reach its full potential.
The New Richmond High School Agri-Science Program and FFA annually donate fruit as well as beautiful poinsettias. The high school foods classes bake cookies for the meal. In addition, many local businesses donate goods, services and funds towards making the meal a success.
The youth from United Methodist Church create a holiday atmosphere by decorating the dining hall. Also, live music will be performed by the New Richmond High School music students for everyone’s enjoyment throughout the meal. Many volunteers from the church, National Honor Society and the Key Club will prepare and serve the meal on Christmas Day.
