To the Editor:
We have to make people aware that the 501(c)3 tax exempt fund for Johnny “Blood” is still active, and in need of donations.
“Blood” was inducted in the NRHS Athletic Hall of Fame on Oct. 6, 2012, and a cousin Pierce McNally accepted the award and plaque.
For those who ask me how the fund is doing, I have to say, “the donations are not coming in as expected.”
How can we as members and citizens of “The City Beautiful” not want to donate to a “hometown hero” and charter member of the NFL Hall of Fame? Please make it a resolution to donate!
