Little Dribblers to perform at halftime this Friday
The New Richmond Little Dribblers will perform at halftime of the New Richmond varsity girls basketball game this Friday.
The New Richmond Little Dribblers will perform at halftime of the New Richmond varsity girls basketball game this Friday.
The Little Dribblers are students in K-2 who have spent the past six Saturdays learning basic basketball skills. More than 100 kids are expected to participate.
The event will also serve as a benefit for U.S. troops currently serving in Afghanistan. Participants are asked to bring one of the following items that can be donated to the troops: 16-ounce packages of cherry or strawberry licorice, packages of beef jerky, bags of hard candy or mints, or packages of gum. Fans attending the game can also make donations.
The kids will perform at halftime, putting on a 6-7 minute show. The kids will be allowed into the game for free. They are asked to wear gym shoes, black shorts and either a camouflage shirt or Tiger apparel.
The girls varsity game begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
