He taught in Black River Falls, Wis., before moving to New Richmond in 1967 where he taught physical education and science for the middle and high schools until 1991. He also coached throughout his teaching career.
During the last years of his life, as his body gave him greater and greater challenges, Andy could truly say: "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; the God of my strength, in whom I will trust." 2 Samuel 22:2-3.
The family extends an invitation to all who wish to join them as they celebrate Andy's life. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Boutwells Landing Chapel located at 5600 Norwich Parkway, Oak Park Heights, MN 55082. Memorials may be sent to Let's Go Fishing, Stillwater Chapter, letsgofishingstillwater.com.
