Faith Community Church of New Richmond announces the addition of Todd Hennlich as director of mission mobilization. In this newly created role, Hennlich will lead a team to guide individuals who are part of Faith Community into meaningful serving opportunities as well as lead the corporate mission of the church.
“For the last four years, I have had the privilege of serving as a volunteer in the Faith Community Church Extension Ministry branch. I have had the joy of visiting the Gaede family in Uganda, and have developed a relationship with our brothers and sisters in Guatemala, which began with a short-term mission trip to Guatemala in 2007. Since that time, my love for God’s work outside of the walls of Faith has grown immensely,” said Hennlich. “My heart really starts racing when I see our body wanting to hit the local mission field and for the opportunity to help prepare them for that work! Faith Works has been an opportunity for us to serve and love the community that God has strategically placed us in and, God willing, I look forward to many more years of being a part of this mission field!”
Mike Evans, lead pastor, said, “Todd’s growth as a servant of Jesus positions him well to guide our church family to extend the reach of the gospel. I’m honored to serve alongside Todd in his expanding role on our leadership team.”
Prior to joining the staff at Faith Community Church, Hennlich spent 16 years in the automotive and health care industries, most recently as operational excellence manager at Cardinal Health Inc., a leader in the health care services industry and prior to that, as Supply Chain Manager at Johnson Controls, a global diversified technology and industrial leader, in Hudson.
Hennlich has also served on the board of Tutapona, an international organization committed to addressing the pain and trauma associated with war and violence, since its inception in 2008. Todd and his family began attending Faith Community Church in 2002. Todd was baptized as a follower of Jesus in 2004. He served as part of Faith’s relief team to Mississippi following hurricane Katrina in 2006, was part of our first mission team to Guatemala in 2007 and began testing God’s call to leadership in 2008.
In 2009, Todd led the team that developed Faith’s first “mission trip to New Richmond” (Faith Works). Faith Works is a week long effort to serve our community in very practical ways. Each year approximately 400 people from Faith Community serve as part of Faith Works.
“As I step into the role of director of mission mobilization, I am eager to see what God will unveil and hope to follow Him well,” said Hennlich.
The purpose of Faith Community Church is to make disciples who plant the church. Faith Community Church is affiliated with Converge Great Lakes, Converge Worldwide, FCC Hudson, The Bridge Bible Church, The River Church, The Village Church and Torrent Church.
