Asphalt Associates, headquartered in Roberts, was recently presented with the Acuity Safety Award.

This award is given to businesses that are exemplary in their partnership with ACUITY to help ensure a safe workplace. The plaque was presented by Terry Tjelta, loss control representative at Acuity, to Brent Weiss, president of Asphalt Associates.

“Asphalt Associates has always prided itself on maintaining an excellent record for workplace safety,” Weiss said. “We’re pleased to partner with an insurance company that works just as hard to ensure the safety of our employees”.

Acuity, headquartered in Sheboygan, is a property and casualty insurer that operates in 20 states, generates nearly $1 billion in revenue through 1,000 independent agencies and manages $2.5 billion in assets.
