Bernadette "Barb" Hamble, age 72, New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully on Saturday, March 9, at the Deerfield Gables Care Center in New Richmond, surrounded by her loving family and care of Adoray Hospice.
Bernadette "Barb" Hamble, age 72, New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully on Saturday, March 9, at the Deerfield Gables Care Center in New Richmond, surrounded by her loving family and care of Adoray Hospice.
She was born on June 22, 1940, in St. Paul, Minn., to Raymond and Marcia (McKean) Hoye. Barb loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to go to the casino and play bingo and cards. She also loved the Vikings.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Hamble; brother, Lawrence Hoye. Survived by her loving children, Debra (Paul) Wiederhoft, Diane (John) Rose, Lynn (Greg) Hatella, Richard Hamble, Ronald (Sheri) Hamble, Robert Hamble, Laurie (Greg) Powers; 16 grandsons; 11 granddaughters; nine great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; and many other relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home in New Richmond. There will be a time to share stories starting at 7 p.m. led by Father James Brinkman. She will be interred at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in New Richmond.
